Diana Greene

Background

Diana Greene is a 1st year graduate student in the Social Psychology Program at the University of Chicago.  She is an active member in the Social Neuroscience Laboratory and the Center for Cognitive and Social Neuroscience.  Diana graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B. A. in Psychology.  As an undergraduate she worked with Dr. Warren Jones in his Personality and Relationships Laboratory.

Prior to her enrollment at the University of Chicago, Diana worked as a field interviewer for the Survey Research Center at the University of Michigan.  There she worked on the Health and Retirement Study (HRS), the National Survey of Health and Stress (NSHS), and the Monitoring the Future study.

Research Interest

Diana is currently involved in a neuroeconomics study examining individual differences in decision-making.  Specifically, she is interested in the effects of loneliness on behavior and physiology.  Another area of research that she is interested in is aging and the approaches to emotional enhancement of memory in the elderly.  Thus her primary research questions involve measuring the effects of social interaction and aging on both behavior and physiology.
