Research Interests
Samantha's primary research interest stems from a personal belief that culture plays a pivotal role in the development of self. She is also interested in the malleability of human prejudice; for instance, if one is exposed early on to different cultures, could this develop a shield against prejudice later in life? Samantha is particularly fascinated in research that looks at cultural mechanisms underlying early development and language acquisition.
