Zoe Liberman
Background
Zoe graduated from Yale University in 2011 with a BS in psychology. There she worked as a research assistant at the Infant Cognition Center with Dr. Karen Wynn and at the Social Cognitive Development Lab with Dr. Kristina Olson. After graduation, Zoe started as a graduate student in Developmental Psychology working with Dr. Amanda Woodward and Dr. Katherine Kinzler.
Research Interests
Zoe is broadly interested in studying social cognitive development in infants and young children. More specifically she is interested in differences in reasoning about others based on social groups, both from the third and first person. For instance, do infants expect people in the same group to interact positively with one another? And, do people have a higher understanding of theory of mind for someone who is like them rather than unlike them?
