Kathryne (Kasey) Van Tyne


Background

Kasey is originally from Golden, Colorado but completed her undergrad at Smith College in Massachusetts. She graduated in 2010 with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Economics. During undergrad she worked with Dr. Byron L. Zamboanga studying alcohol use among high school and college students. She is currently a doctoral student in the Social Program.


Research Interests

Kasey is interested in how attitudes relate to identity, and how both attitudes and identity can influence behavior. She also has an interest in individual's attitudes toward environmentalism and sustainability. Her current advisor is Dr. Kimberly Rios Morrison.
