Natalie Wheeler
Background
Natalie received her BA in Psychology Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado (CU) in 2011. While at CU she worked as a research assistant in Dr. Irene Blair’s lab. Natalie’s honors thesis, under the supervision of Dr. Blair and Dr .Leaf Van Boven focused on empathy gaps in pain perception. She is currently a joint PhD student at Chicago Booth and in the Department of Psychology. Her advisor is Dr. Eugene Caruso.
Research Interests
Social cognition, perspective taking, emotion, and judgment and decision making.
