Doctoral student in Developmental Psychology
Ben is a doctoral student in the Developmental program working with Dr. Dan Yurovsky. He received his B.A. in Psychology from Reed College, where he worked with Dr. Jennifer Henderlong Corpus. He also has a MPhil in Social and Developmental Psychology from the University of Cambridge, where he worked with Dr. Claire Hughes.
Broadly, Ben researches early language development and its interface with social-cognitive development. Studying communication in both adults and children, he is interested in the development of pragmatics and higher-order inference about a speaker's knowledge and beliefs.
