Doctoral student in Developmental Psychology
Carol graduated from Brown University with a B.S. in Psychology in 2018. At Brown, Carol worked with David Sobel to study parents’ attitudes towards science and the influence of parental pedagogical practices on children’s exploration and learning. She is now a doctoral student working with Amanda Woodward at the University of Chicago.
Carol is broadly interested in how parent-child interactions facilitate children’s learning about STEM topics. She is also interested in the development of children’s early scientific and causal reasoning skills.
