Doctoral student in Integrative Neuroscience
Kelly is a graduate student in the Integrative Neuroscience program working with Dr. Greg Norman and Dr. Brian Prendergast. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Wake Forest University in 2011. After graduation, she worked as a research assistant for two years with Dr. Ahmad Hariri in the Laboratory of NeuroGenetics at Duke University.
Kelly is interested in understanding social behavior from an interdisciplinary perspective. She is currently examining reciprocal interactions between autonomic, neuroendocrine, immune, and genetic mechanisms of sickness behaviors in human and animal models.
