Background

Rebecca Butler is graduate student in the Integrative Neuroscience program working with Sarah London.  She received degrees in Biochemistry and Marine Science from the University of Texas with a business certificate. While at UT, she worked with Dr. Hans Hofmann to investigate the neuromolecular mechanisms by which early-life social experiences affect adult social behavior in a species of cichlid fish, Astatotilapia burtoni.

Research Interests

In general, Rebecca is interested in the mechanistic connections between biochemical pathways and social behavior.
