BA/MA
Current third-year students can apply to enroll in the Master of Arts Program in the Social Sciences (MAPSS), Master of Arts in Economics, or the International Relations MA (CIR) as a joint BA/MA student during their 4th year. Students in the joint program must complete 9 graduate-level courses (3 ECMA courses and 6 electives) during their 4th year toward their MA degree while also completing their BA degree. Courses taken toward the MA during this 4th year can double-count toward the BA degree. Students in the BA/MA program retain their college financial aid package and there is no additional enrollment at the University. MA program coursework, and potentially the MA thesis, can be counted towards undergraduate degree requirements. are submitted directly to the Division of the Social Sciences.
