Costs and Financial Support
The estimated tuition cost for full-time enrollment for one year (three courses, three per quarter) can be found on the Bursar’s website. Enrolling in a program of study includes additional costs beyond tuition. For a full list of direct and indirect expenses associated with the cost of attendance, please visit the Cost of Attendance page of the Graduate Financial Aid Office website.
Incoming MA students who request aid on their applications are eligible for a limited number of awards of up to half tuition. For the second year all successful students, those with a GPA of 3.5 or above are likely to receive additional funding, many at the full tuition level. Second year students can also apply for Foreign Language and Areas Studies (FLAS) awards, which add a stipend.
Other funding opportunities for students can be found on the Student Grants and Fellowships page.
Student Government offers limited travel awards for graduate students through the Graduate Council Travel Fund.
