Background
Derek Kahng is a doctoral student working with Kyshia Henderson in the Social Psychology area. Previously, he worked as a lab manager at Stanford University for Jordan Starck and as a graduate student with Christia Spears Brown at the University of Kentucky.
Research Interests
Derek is broadly interested in how (a) perceptions of historical progress and historical ownership affect structural attributions for racism and (b) developmental interventions that facilitate structural attributions for racism.
