Letty is a recent Ph.D. graduate from the Integrative Neuroscience program in the Department of Psychology at the University of Chicago. Originally from Hong Kong, she received her B.A. in Neuroscience from Swarthmore College. Her research is in auditory cognitive neuroscience, with a focus on how the brain tracks periodic features in auditory stimuli, to address questions about the nature of auditory attention and the neural representation of sounds. Letty is also deeply committed to undergraduate teaching, she served previously a teaching assistant for several psychology classes and worked as a Writing Advisor in the College Core for two years. As a Teaching Fellow she will be teaching a research methods class in the Psychology Department and will lead a section in the Core sequence Mind. In her free time Letty likes to play ultimate frisbee and make ceramics.
