Postdoctoral Scholar

Can Carkoglu is a postdoc in the Cognitive Development Lab, working with Susan Levine and Susan Goldin-Meadow. Can completed his Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Science at Purdue University. He is interested in how children engage with parents and peers when learning math. Specifically, Can is interested in how math anxiety of children and socializers (e.g., parents, peers) could shape interactions around math and math anxiety could be communicated in the context of these social interactions.
